Vashti and Dave's wedding

We've had a busy last few weeks but it just flown by. It is true what they say - time flies when you're having fun.
It all started with Vashti and Dave's wedding on a rainy Friday in New Westminster. Despite the rain we still got some great photos. We brought plenty of umbrellas and the week before we went to New Westminster to find some covered locations in case it rained. So all you brides out there who worry about rain on your wedding day, do not fret because the photos will still turn out great.
Vashti and Dave are lovely people and so sweet together. It was a pleasure being there to help them capture their day. Thanks again, Vashti and Dave!
Here are some of our favourite shots.

I like this shot Roger captured of Vashti's bridesmade helping her get ready.

Vashti's bridesmades were a riot and kept me entertained. Here they are drying themselves out before heading to the church.

I really love this shot of Vashti.

Roger captured such great emotion in this photo of Dave.

The lovely couple.

The bridal party were so patient with us even though it was cold and wet.

My First Show

I am beside myself with excitement. This weekend I am having my first show of my mixed media paintings. It is a group show of students held by Jeanne Krabbendam at her studio, The Salt Water Studio on Granville Island. Please come on by. The show will be Saturday, April 14th and Sunday, April 15th from 1 to 5pm on both days. There will be an opening reception on Saturday from 3pm to 5pm.
The studio is located at 202-1650 Duranleau St., which is just between Justin Stitches and The Hang Out Place (the hammock store) on Granville Island.
Here are some pictures of my paintings, so you can see what my work is like. But they do look a bit different in person.
